Since 1968 M. Dyer & Sons Storage has been helping Hawaii’s residential and business communities meet their moving and storage needs. In 2007, M. Dyer & Sons teamed up with Energy Industries to implement am energy-efficient lighting retorfit.

By retrofitting 8-foot T12 lamps and magnetic ballasts with low-wattage T8 lamps and electronic ballasts, Energy Industries was able to achieve an energy savings of more than 40%. The annual kWh reduction of 42,000 is saving M. Dyer & Sons nearly $9,000 a year in utility expenses. At the same time, M. Dyers and Sons is enjoying a 20% increase in light levels.
