In 2005 and 2006, Energy Industries performed a lighting retrofit of 16 Central Pacific Bank branches in Hawaii.
Central Pacific Bank is the fourth largest financial institution in Hawaii with 38 branches throughout the state. Energy Industries’ lighting retrofit of 1,804 fixtures achieved nearly 50% energy savings. Energy Industries replaced T12 lamps and magnetic ballast with T8 lamps and electronic ballasts. Additionally, Energy Industries was able to de-lamp fixtures while maintaining light levels by adding reflectors. Reducing their energy consumption by nearly 210,000 kWh per year is equivalent to $37,000 in utility bill savings.
